Imperia

Imposantos x Furstenball x Florestan

Imperia is a 2021 premium mare candidate who won her class at the 2024 Hanoverian mare show in Ankum, Germany.

She was awarded an overall 8 and an Exterieur+ for exceptional conformation by the Hannoveraner Verband. She scored an 8.74 at her mare performance test with a 10 for her trot, 9.5 for rideability and 9 for her walk and canter.

Imperia’s sire, Imposantos, is competing Grand Prix with Dina van Liere. Her dam line is Holsteiner Stamm 4 known for producing both outstanding jumping and dressage horses.

Imperia is a half-sister to the popular KWPN stallion, Secret Lover (by Secret) and Bundeschampionat qualifier and Elite mare, Orinda 3 (also by Secret). Her grandam, Olympia IV, produced dressage young horse champion Bodo’s Ballerina and international jumping horses, Loxley and Criss.

Imperia is the type of mare that gives you goose bumps when she enters the arena. She is a charismatic mare with three top gaits as well as an outstanding hind leg and a willing, unflappable temperament.

Her first foal, a filly by Millennium, is of top quality. For 2026, I am debating between putting her back under saddle or breeding her to Secret, as the resulting foal would be a 3/4 brother to esteemed Van Olst stallion, Secret Lover.
